Supplies for Diana Coidan's "Pastel Clouds" Class:


The following is a list of materials for the "Clouds" workshop and can be purchased at:
Jerry's Artarama or Askew Taylor,


** If you are new to pastels and would like to "try before you buy", the gallery will provide you with the pastels, pencils and paper you will need to complete your painting
for a fee of $12 **

• PHOTO Reference: Please bring one of your favorite sky photos to paint from. If you don't have a photo of your own, the instuctor will provide one for you.

• Schmincke or Sennelier soft pastels (or whatever brand of SOFT pastels you have,
no HARD pastels)

• Canson Mi-Teintes or Art Spectrum pastel paper or pastel board (various colors, preferably light bluds), cut and mounted on foam board or hard back board 16 x 20 or larger. Remember smooth surface paper works better for clouds than paper with tooth.

• Latex gloves, if needed.

• Blenders, pastel sharpeners if you have one, but this is not necessary

• Pastel pencils for detail in your piece
