COLOR MIXING WORKSHOP SUPPLIES


Supplies can be found at Jerry's Artarama:

AskewTaylor, Michaels or AC Moore.

• A portable floor easel -- Askew Taylor (in downtown Raleigh www.askewtaylor.com) carries an "Aluminum Heritage Easel" for $32.50. You can also find them at Michael's or AC Moore

• Oils, Acrylic, or Water Soluble Oil (pastels OK too) in the following colors:
  1. Alizarin Crimson
  2. Cadmium Red Light
  3. Cad Yellow Pale (no green hue)
  4. Ultramarine Blue
  5. White
  6. Cerulean
  7. Cad Yellow Medium
  8. Sap Green

• A few small canvas, nothing larger than 12x16 or a pad of canvas paper for experimentation.
• A range of brushes (natural bristle for oils), for example size 2, 4, 6, & 8 square and filbert
• Plastic white, wood or paper palette (no paper plates or flimsy materials)
• For Oil: Odorless Turpenoid or Odorless Mineral Spirits
• A jar to hold your solvent or water painting medium
• Paper Towels
