Supplies for Rocky's Oil and Palette Knife Classes:
• Colors either water soluble or tradition oil or acrylics:
- Prussian Blue
- Ultramarine Blue (or Cobalt Blue)
- Alizeran Crimson (or permanent red)
- Cadmium Red Light
- Cadmium Red Medium
- Lemon Yellow (or Cadmium Yellow Light)
- Gamboge Yellow (or Cadmium Yellow Medium)
- Burnt Siena (or Burnt Umber)
- Sap Green
- Pthalo Green (or Veridian Green)
- White (Titanium or Zinc)
• Optional Colors:
- Magenta
- Dioxyzene Violet
- Cobalt Blue (expensive)
• Canvases: 8 x 10 - 11 x 14
• Windsor & Newton fast drying medium (for water soluble oils)
• Regular Oils: Liquin or odorless mineral spirits
• Palette Kinves: About a 1" one and a 3" diamond shaped painting knife
(plastic palette knives work OK with acrylics but not the other way around).
• Palettes: Either a white acrylic or other type of flat palette, or palette paper
• Paper towels, sponge, table easel (if you have one) and an apron.
