BOB RANKIN

If you have ever been to SAS Institute or Glaxo, or Wachovia or Cappers Restaurant you are no doubt familiar with Bob Rankin’s award winning works.

Last year Bob exhibited in numerous solo and two person exhibits, including the Cameron Museum in Wilmington and the Iredell Art Museum. He has made Metro Magazine’s best in the Triangle list five times and was chosen as one of the top ten artists in the Triangle by Metro’s art critic. Of the numerous awards he has received, a few are; Best in Show five times at the NC State Fair, Raleigh Medal of the Arts Award and North Carolina’s NCAEA Secondary Art Educator of the Year.

When he’s not winning awards, Bob somehow finds the time to teach workshops both here and abroad. A world traveler, he’s even had a solo show in Morocco where the King now has a Rankin in his collection.
