DAWN WHITELAW
Dawn Whitelaw is an award winning artist from Nashville, TN. Widely known for her stunning portraiture, she is also an extremely accomplished contemporary impressionist and plein air artist. From winning the "Award of Excellence" in the Oil Painter's of America exhibition to a Certificate of Merit at the National Portrait Convention, Dawn's beautifully rendered paintings are collected worldwide. She is also a sought after art instructor on the national art scene and will be teaching here at the gallery in 2012.
Dawn Whitelaw has been honored with an invitation to Chair the 2012 American Impressionist Society Annual juried exhibit.

Sharon DiGiulio as one of the top workshop coordinators in US Today working for years at national art store chain, Jerry'sArtarama. As a result, she is surrounded by hundreds of the countrys' top instructors.
Heavily influenced by the talent surrounding her, DiGiulio now has no choice but to work in a mixed media fashion. “It seems I learn something new about a different medium weekly and I just have to try it! I dare myself to use every technique I can think of from transfers, to watercolor to basic drawing, and printmaking to encaustics, to painting and stitching in creating my acrylic collages. The choices are endless. Now my challenge is to put it all together with my collection of photos and make it work. I read a ton of books and pull from childhood experiences and memories to embellish my work.”
