Nicole's Studio & Art Gallery always welcomes new artists submissions for consideration to the gallery. We currently represent a carefully selected small group of North Carolina artists and acclaimed guest artists from around the nation.
A significant amount of work, effort and cost goes into keeping our featured artists works inventoried, labeled, displayed and publicized. Therefore, artists are carefully considered and only those whose works do not signigantly overlap the style of current exhibiting artists will be considerred. The gallery is committed to the sales and growth of the artists, therefore we ask for the same professional committment in return.
Unfortunately we are unable to take in all of the wonderful works out there. Due to the large number of solicitations, please read some of the gallery's requirements applicable to all exhibiting artists.
ARTISTIC REQUIREMENTS:
You are not overly represented in the Raleigh area. You will need to be able to rotate your artwork on a tri-monthly basis with at least five works (or more depending on the exhibit). You will need a bio/resume and be painting/creating on a regular basis and be able to take digital photos of your images for our web site (or haveyour own web site) . Your work must be current (no older than 3 years, preferably as current as last week!). Your retail pricing must be consistent across all exhibiting venues, including your own direct sales. If you are not a professional artist or have just graduated in the arts or are emerging we require that you regularly enter submissions to juried shows locally, or better. You have exhibited through academic venues or have exhibited in your art organizations and/or other venues, ie: a restaurant, government, chamber, etc.
NOTE: Please do not send material that needs to be returned and please please please do not show up unsolicted with artwork!!
SUBMISSION OPTIONS (sorry no slides):
1. Email nicolesstudio@bellsouth.net with a link to your current website. Sizes , Titles and Prices must be sent if not on your web site.
2. Mail a CD with a copy of your bio or resume (always an email address) and a minimum of 15 images of available paintings completed within the last 3 years including; title, medium, size (without frame) and price. Please also include images of 10 sold paintings including the date sold.
3. Mail an inkjet printed portfolio 4 or more images per page- (that you do not need returned) with your bio/ resume (always include an email address) with a copy of your bio/ resume and a minimum of 15 images of available paintings completed within the last 3 years including; title, medium, size (without frame) and price. Please also include images of 10 sold paintings including the date sold.
4. Email nicolesstudio@bellsouth.net with a portfolio desribed above in MS Word documents or PDF files with LOW RES imbedded/inserted imagesin the document with a copy of your bio/resume and a minimum of 15 images of available paintings completed within the last 3 years including; title, medium, size (without frame) and price. Please also include images of 10 sold paintings including the date sold. Email the documents as attachments.
